California Fraternal Order of Police Endorses Aja Smith for Congress
(Riverside, CA) – Aja Smith for Congress has gained the endorsement of another law enforcement organization.
The California Fraternal Order of Police (CAFOP) has endorsed Aja Smith for her dedication to public safety and her commitment to ensuring that men and women of law enforcement have the tools to do their job and protect our families.
The CAFOP joins the Riverside Chapter of CAFOP, Riverside Sheriff’s Association (RSA) and Riverside Sheriff Chad Bianco in their support of Aja Smith for Congress.
“We do not take endorsements for political office lightly,’ said Riverside Lodge President, Chuck Hall. “We strongly feel that Aja is the right person to represent the values and needs of residents in the 41st Congressional District. You have our full endorsement and best wishes for a successful campaign,” finished Chuck Hall.
“I am honored to have earned the support of the law enforcement community. Unsafe communities cannot thrive, we must always make public safety a priority,” commented Smith.
Sgt. Aja Smith grew up in Moreno Valley, raised by her mother and grandmother. She served in the Air Force Reserves and was deployed to Al Udeid Air Base during Operation Enduring Freedom. She is a candidate for the 41st Congressional District in western Riverside County, which includes the cities of Moreno Valley, Perris, and Riverside.
